Our 14mm Herringbone collection is part of the Bespoke Wood Flooring range, finished to order in our London factory. Each board measures 90mm x 14/3mm x 400mm, and you can choose from 45 colours and a wide range of finishes, including the option to supply your own oils. Because every board is made to your specification, the floor can be matched to your room, your joinery or an existing piece rather than picked off the shelf.
Herringbone is a pattern-driven layout where each short board meets a long board, giving a decorative look that suits hallways, living rooms and period properties. The interlocked ends tend to mask small seasonal movement in the boards, and the 14mm thickness keeps the floor light enough for upper floors and tight transitions between rooms. Pair with underfloor heating only where the manufacturer's instructions allow it.
